We tune tractors, combines, sprayers, semis and pickups for better fuel economy and steadier power, right on your farm or in your yard. Serving northeast North Dakota and northern Minnesota.
Emissions equipment stays in place and working. Always.
Tell us your make, model and code. Jacob will email you what it usually means and the most common fix, free.
Get Code HelpFrom the factory, your engine is set up to work for everybody, in every climate, doing every job. A tune sets it up for the work you actually do.
Honest expectations: results vary by machine, load and how you run it. We’ll tell you what’s realistic for your equipment before we start.
Fueling and timing are set for the loads your machine really pulls, not a one-size-fits-all factory map. When the engine isn’t working against its own settings, it can get the job done on less fuel.
A good tune helps the engine hold RPM in heavy ground, wet crop or a loaded grade, so you’re not running it wide open all day just to keep up.
Cleaner throttle response and smoother power make for a machine that feels less strained. That’s easier on the operator at the end of a long day.
Farm equipment first, with semis and pickups right alongside.
Tuned for pulling, harvesting and spraying the way you actually run, across long days in the field. Not every machine can be tuned. Email the make, model, year and engine and we’ll tell you straight.
Work trucks, stock-trailer rigs and daily drivers. Better throttle, smoother shifts and a truck that doesn’t feel like it’s working at its limit.
For owner-operators and farm trucks that need to keep earning. A tune matched to your loads and routes can help with fuel and steadier pulling on grades and in the wind.
Email us, we come to you, and your machine goes back to work.
Off-season is a great time to tune. Equipment sitting in the shed is equipment we can get to.
Send the make, model, year and engine, what the machine does, and where it’s parked. Photos of the data plate help.
We set a time that works for you, often in the off-season. No hauling a combine down the highway and no day lost waiting at a shop in town.
We talk through how you run it, check the machine is healthy, and set the tune to match the work. If something needs repair first, we’ll tell you so your shop can fix it, then we come back.
GrandSki Precision Diesel is based in Stephen, Minnesota, and we come to you. We tune equipment on farms, shops and yards up and down the Red River Valley and beyond. Not sure if you’re in range? Email us where the machine is parked and we’ll let you know.
Tuning only. Emissions equipment stays in place and working.

Email jacob@grandskiprecision.com with where the machine is and what it is. If it makes sense to make the trip, we will.
Veteran-owned and run the way we were trained: show up when we say we will, do the job right, and tell you the truth.
We don’t do deletes or defeat devices on anything, ever.
Show up on time, do it right, and give a straight answer, even when the answer is “this machine isn’t worth tuning.”
We come to your farm, shop or yard. Your equipment stays put and your day keeps moving.
Every tune keeps DPF, EGR and DEF systems in place and working. Working tunes for working machines, set for the pulling, harvesting and hauling you actually do.
It can. A tune sets fueling and timing for the loads your machine really runs, which can help it do the same work on less fuel. How much depends on the machine, the load and how you run it. We’ll give you an honest idea before we start, not a made-up number.
Many can, but not all. It depends on the make, model, year and engine. Email us those details, and a photo of the data plate if you have one, and we’ll tell you straight.
It can. Dealers and manufacturers may deny claims on modified equipment, and leases or financing may have terms about modifications. If your machine is under warranty, check your coverage first.
No. Never. Emissions equipment stays in place and working on every machine we tune.
No. We focus on tuning. If something needs fixing first, we'll tell you so your dealer or repair shop can take care of it, then we'll come back and tune it.
